We're playing at The Cambridge Rock Festival - 16th June 2022!!!

Tickets are available from the following link: https://www.cambridgerockfestival.co.uk/event-details/cambridge-rock-festival-2022 Cambridge Rock Festival is run by volunteer music fans for music fans, with a great friendly, non-corporate vibe! This year marks the event’s 16th festival, with around 65 classic rock, prog and blues acts appearing over the four days of June 18th-21st on three stages on its new site in Cambridgeshire at the East Of England Showground, Peterborough, just a few minutes off of the A1(M). It has always looked at things from the perspective of the audience, so for example both band and audience are housed under cover, this year the option of tiered seating has been added, you can park by your tent if you camp, there’s no extra charge to park, etc. The event has also supported many local breweries by running its own real-ale and farmhouse cider bar, with typically around 80 choices available each year, plus a new specialist gin, Pimms & prosecco bar.

The CRF started in 2004 as a family run event (it still is!) and was known as the Rockinbeerfest. It quickly gathered wider support and a team of volunteers to help run it, many of whom are still involved today and without whom it would not be possible to continue. The aim has always been to provide great entertainment, particularly in the classic rock and blues and prog genres, and avoid the corporate nature of many larger festivals as far as possible. All the proceeds from ticket and drink sales go to help fund the event. Despite being run and stewarded by enthusiastic volunteers, who make it perhaps the friendliest festival you will find, many festival go-ers and indeed many bands have said it is one of the best run festivals they’ve ever been to.

The annual music festival has seen nationally and internationally well known acts perform on its various stages, but has also taken the opportunity to promote new and local bands too - the total number is over a thousand! The event has been short-listed for best medium sized UK festival. Many major acts have appeared in previous years, including Asia, Uriah Heep, Focus, Wishbone Ash, The Quireboys, Magnum, Thunder, Caravan, FM, Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy, Eddie And The Hotrods, Snakecharmer, John Otway, Mostly Autumn, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Atomic Rooster, Mick Ralphs, Don Airey, Barclay James Harvest, Dr Feelgood.... the list goes on and demonstrates the pulling power of the event for both the artists and fans.

In the days when local music venues are closing all over the place, especially those promoting original music, the CRF offers the chance to see four days of great entertainment in a relaxed, friendly environment and ‘keep music live’…
